Gluten-Free Arugula & Prosciutto Pizza

Gluten-Free Arugula & Prosciutto Pizza

Ingredients:

  • New Grains Pizza crust
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 2-3 pieces Prosciutto
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pizza crust into oven directly on the rack and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Take the crust out of the oven. Spread your favorite tomato sauce on top of the crust, leaving about 1/2 inch all the way around for the crust.  Add some fresh mozzarella on top of the sauce.
  3. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted.  Once melted, take it out of the oven and transfer to a cooling rack.
  4. While the pizza is baking, take arugula and toss it with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.
  5. Top the pizza with the arugula. Then, layer on 2-3 pieces of prosciutto. Add the shavings of Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. If desired, drizzle with a balsamic glaze for an extra punch of flavor.
