New Grains Gluten Free Pizza Crusts
Amazing Pizza Sauce (recipe below)
Mozzarella cheese, cut into chunks (prefer the log type Mozzarella)
Heirloom Tomatoes, sliced (or quartered if baby tomatoes)
Fresh Basil, thinly sliced
Fresh grated Parmesan Cheese
Preheat oven to 425 F. Place pizza crust on a stone (or pan). Spread with desired amount of pizza sauce. Add chucked mozzarella, tomatoes, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 5-10 minutes depending on how crisp you like your toppings and crust. Remove from oven and let cool for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with Fresh basil and drizzle with Balsamic reduction. Enjoy!
Amazing Pizza Sauce
15 oz can tomato sauce
¼ cup water
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp dried basil
¼ tsp dried thyme
¼ tsp garlic
¼ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 bay leaf
Dash of onion powder
½ tsp lemon
Combine everything together in a sauce pan except pepper. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 30-60 minutes to thicken. Add pepper, remove bay leaf.
*Double or even quadruple the sauce and then freeze in individual quart sized freezer bags.
